1st Bodhicharya Winter Retreat with Ringu Tulku.
Berlin January 3rd-7th 2013

Quintessential Instructions of the Jonangpa

Dear friends we are very happy to announce the first Bodhicharya Winter Retreat that will take place in Bodhicharya Berlin from Thursday January 3rd 5pm to Monday January 7th 2013 3pm.

We would like to invite you to join us in auspiciously starting the new year.

Bodhicharya Berlin is the biggest city center under the guidance of Ringu Tulku. Earlier this year Rinpoche appealed to all his friends and students to financially help the completion of the project.

This non residential retreat is organised to raise funds for the building of the temple in Bodhicharya Berlin.
This 1st retreat will take place in the provisional shrine room that has a limited capacity of 60 people. Due to the small size of the room, simultaneous translation will not be available and the teachings will be in English only.

Rinpoche will teach from a text taken from the 108 Instructions of Jonang.
The 108 Instructions of Jonang is a collection of the pith instructions of all the lineages that came from India to Tibet. This collection was put together by Kunga Drolchok (1507-1566) and Jetsun Taranatha (1575-1634).

Bodhicharya Berlin can’t provide accommodation and food but there are many hotels and cheap restaurants in the vicinity. Special deals and discounted fares are being negotiated. For example the Gold Hotel, 2 minutes away from center, is already offering single rooms for 49€ and twin rooms for 65€ per night breakfast and free wifi included. The Ibis City Styles, 1 minute walk from the center, is offering single rooms for 59€ and twin rooms for 69€ per night breakfast and free wifi included. You’ll be asked about your choice of hotel when registering for the retreat and we will coordinate the bookings.

You are of course free to arrange any other accommodation at your own convenience.

The retreat fee is 300€ and does not include accommodation nor meals. 100€ are to be transferred at the time of booking. The remaining 200€ will have to be paid before December 1st 2012.

Registration is now open.

Then transfer 100€ to the Bodhicharya Berlin account that was set especially for the retreat:
